Almost half of elderly living at home receive help and 33% indicate that they sometimes feel lonely. Jill Mulder and Hans-Elias de Bree, founders of Genus Care, also experienced this problem with their parents. They found it difficult to maintain good contact with their parent(s) from a distance and whilst knowing that things are OK. They longed for a product that enables remote contact and remote care, for Professional and for the Family. A product that provides peace and confidence when you are not there and makes you feel connected to each other from a distance. Genus Care was founded in 2018 based on this desire. A company that focuses on the development of the E-health product Genus.

What started as a dream of 2, is now the passion of many more. Genus has a team of truly dedicated professionals that challenge the status quo and define new ways of working. With deployments in a range of countries, integrations with the leaders in remote care and a unprecedented innovation track, Genus truly make a difference for the professional care market as much as for the user at home.

And Hans-Elias and Jill? The grandchildren regularly see video calls with grandparents and have more peace of mind, knowing that Genus is watching over them when they are not there. We, Genus Care, are passionate about bringing family generations closer together in a loving and caring way. In this way, we continue to work every day for less loneliness and more efficient care!
