6. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus
7. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer

Congratulations on your purchase of the Genus. This manual will guide you through the basic setup and usage of your device. Please read this manual carefully before using your Genus to ensure proper operation and safety.

1. Charging: Before using your Genus for the first time, ensure it is fully charged. Connect the provided charging adapter to the Genus and a power source.

2. Powering On/Off: Press and hold the red power button located on the back of the Genus to power it on/off.

3. Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup process, including language selection, Wi-Fi setup, subscription details and connection to the first phone.

1. Add a phone user: Touch screen, select MENU, CONNECT, add a new phone.

2. On the phone: Download Genus Care app from the Play store or Apple store and enter the Activation code. Follow prompts in the app to share a photo or make a video call.

3. On the Genus: Select the type of user that can either have full access to all data and alerts or only send photos and make a video call.

4. Settings: Access the settings menu (Touch screen, select MENU, select SETTINGS), to customize your Genus preferences, including display, sound, and connectivity settings.

5. Battery Life: Always keep your Genus charged and in a standard place. In case of a low battery, a message will be displayed. Phone users can receive a low battery status.

• Do not expose the Genus to water or moisture.

• Avoid exposing the Genus to extreme temperatures.

• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the Genus yourself. Contact customer support for assistance.

• Use only the provided charging cable and accessories.

• Keep the Genus away from children and pets.

If you encounter any issues with your Genus, refer to the troubleshooting section of the manual or contact customer support for assistance.
